So, I have got me old moped out and its covered in curse word. I've tried lots of stuff to get the gunge off - I have even scrubbed it a bit. Seriously though, WD40 etc has not budged even with the application of a pressure washer so what I need is something evil that will make it come up super shiny but will not eat the paint. Also I would prefer it if it did not cost the same as Gold. Any thoughts would be much appreciatunged.

Cars used to come with a heavy duty wax coating - you have to be old to remember ! The dealers used to steam clean the bodywork to remove the bulk. One thought therefore is use heat in form of boiling water applied with cheap dishwashing brush or see if a friendly HGV garage would allow you to use their steam cleaner for a few quid / box of biscuits for rest room etc.
