Top news just in.
Passed its MOT about 20 minutes ago. Few advisories, but generally pretty safe. Tester was very impressed with it, seemed to like something other than Mondeo/Focus/Astra/Golfs that they seem to test all day.
Very pleased with that. I'll be using them again for MOT's, since my regular place sold out and retired. £35 too, would have been happy to pay full whack too.

Easily double or treble your money on that, but I'd keep it personally,1.8cvh is a good motor.
Plentry of engine options for them should you get bored, nice Cossie v6 24v is a common and easy upgrade for 200bhp motoring and lots of sideways action!!!

"The car is (or soon will be) advertised elsewhere, so I'm afraid if it does sell by other means it'll be withdrawn from sale on here."
Oh my god. I think I have found a new friend - someone who DOESN'T think they have the "right" to do bloody anything on eBay and just says it like it is.
Never mind the car; that's a good listing and attitude. ;D

I got in trouble with ebay for saying that, FYI. They almost pulled my listing 14 hours before it ended.

I personally use classified ads for cars on eBay on the rare occasions I bother. I'll set the price based on completed auctions though. It's a car - few people are just going to bid and pay for it, as the number of relisted items indicates.

I just couldnt bring myself to cut it up. The missus has given me permission to have another epic car, along the lines of my RX7 powered Skoda Estelle, or Capri engined/Fourtrak chassis'd Mk1 Fiesta, so I'm chucking the funds from this into the mix.
I started it at 1p as its the easiest way to guage its value.

I actually hate when people list on ebay and remove because of a sale elsewhere. Totally disregarding the rules, and its an auction, not just a for sale advert. Also legally binding
