I used to clean my car religiously every sunday morning......
nowadays kids, dogs, diy etc mean I never have enough time to do the job to what I consider a satisfactory level. So a quick whizz up to the Kosovan Kar Wash, £6 and 15 mins later.... ta-daaa!! A result that would have taken me 2 hours.
Lazy, but worth it ;D

As i am driving a white car, i wash my car almost every day.. And by washing i don't mean just splashing some water on it Come to think of it, she needs some back to black on the bumpers...

i prefer drining a clean car,its a pride thing and i think it says something about the owner, although saying that my volvo is disgusting but i just haven't had a chance to do it,been busy househunting and selling.

Used to clean my car religiously on a sunday too. Now the kids take up more of my time as their getting older. When I do get to clean the car I can almost gaurantee the 'little darlings' will put their sticky little mits on the windows and paintwork within seconds of finishing.

I've NEVER waxed a car... EVER ! In seven years of ownership i've washed my golf about 3 times..... I just can't be assed with it, freaks me out when i see people washing their cars actually, i want to go and advise them that theres more important things to do !

I do succumb to the eerily clean shiny finish..in fact if I have time I like to use 3M hand glaze before polishing just to make sure that it shines even more. When I feel particularly anal I even lift the lowrider up and polish all the painted surfaces underneath too...fuel tank, trailing arms etc...I get told off by the missus for taking too long to clean her car,but as I remind her, it's not she's gonna do it...

I love to have the Sud looking clean, gets washed maybe once a month, sitting in the shed it gets this lovely film of dust over it....
A good clean normally extends to the engine bay, suspension bits and pieces, and a thorough interior clean as well, or just a dust off if I haven't driven the car in some time. Which it seems I don't.

I really enjoy doing it too.
I spent a good 6hrs just washing and polishing my dad's Scimitar the other month.
I don't just polish though. I polished the paintwork on the Simson, and then spent 2 months getting it as dirty as possible ;D hehe!
I've yet to clean in an engine bay though...

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

In my opinion,a layer of dirt protects the paintwork much more effectively than 3 hours worth of wax.......
