Times come to sell this one.
Owned by my father for the last two years and used regularly by myself. Mostly as a second or third car and its coped great with the last couple of winters. We have both purchased newer, larger 4x4s and this one is surplus.
1.8 Petrol, 5 speed manual, full 'super select' transfer box with high and lo 4wd and locking diffs. Its genuinely never been stuck even in some serious snow.
3 door, 4 seat. full electrics pack including mirrors and sunroof. CD and tape stereo, trip computer. working air con, pro fitted alarm and immobiliser with certificate.
Sat nav, sidesteps, smoke tinted windows, pinifarina styling including rear spoiler, 16" alloys.
Car starts, drives an stops fine however it has an intermittant fault whereby it loses power and the engine management lights comes on when driven over 50mph, this dosent happen all the time and it seems to recover fine when brought back under 50. (light then goes off) My local garage has plugged it into the diagnostics and it came up with a fuel pressure fault. Its suspected to be the high pressure fuel pump, its a fairly expensive part from Mitsubishi but they seem to be available from various breakers cheap enough. I'm happy for anyone to plug it in and check the fault code for themselves.
At the moment the back door wont open as the cable has come off, il try to sort this before the car goes, also there are a few small scuffs and scratches to the bodywork and the front arches could do with a little tidy but it looks respectable enough and polishes up well.
Underneath seems solid, I undersealed it 18 months ago. Its had a new downpipe, 2 tyres, new rear brake pads and a good few other small bits in the last couple of years. Timing belt changed at 76k, recent service. Plenty of receipts and service history/old mots.
Car seems a bit too good to scrap and I'm confident someone capable could sort it out easily enough. Alternatively it would make an excellent off road worker or toy.
Id rather it went complete but I'm willing to break it if theres enough genuine interest.
I'm bound to have forgotten things so please ask away. Get in touch to arrange viewings etc.
Some pics, I can get detailed ones if needed,
