Full Metal Challenge?
Most of the things built on Scrapheap Challenge fall apart during the show anyway - not a lot of point putting them in to a museum like that!

That's the one!! Did anyone watch the "ultimate" scraphead challenge: I loved the attitude of those bonkers farmers who created the huge tractor / truck / aero-engined thingy!! "Proper job!".

And then theres Lisa Rogers (shame there is no Dribble smiley) How about this? I don't watch it much anymore since I can't tell beforehand wether I'll get the American(ized )version or the Brit version. Same creators but for different markets.

They done the same thing with loads of good programs. Anyone who'se seen both the original British versions of Fawlty Towers, and the ones they re-shot for the American market, will agree with me that the Americanised versions were utter sh*te in comparison, because they weren't written with the North American style of humour in mind, and didn't work when they re-written them to appeal to Americans. They do the right thing when they bring US programmes to the UK, they leave them the hell alone. (Anyone remember Seinfeld, that wouldn't have worked if it was set in Glasgow and was full of 'yer maw's pure fat!' jokes! ;D ;D)

While we're chanking on about telly...
Anyone watch Swiss Toni on BBC3 last night? OK, so it really doest quite work to turn a very funny 30 second sketch character into a 30 minute sitcom, but the segways inserted between scenes were superb!
They basically consisted of snippets from TV car adverts from the '60's and '70's, when adverts were allowed to show girls in bikinis and tell whopping fibs, like the Allegro being a macho drivers car....
Top nostalgic retro action!
