I have a KM141 4 speed in my 1975 SWB J26 Mitsubishi Jeep.
I've tried all sorts of on line gearbox specialists without any joy so far so wondered if anyone here can help me please?
It gets difficult to engage 2nd gear when the box warms up so I am trying to find a gearbox engineer who can either replace the worn parts or fit a suitable replacement box, it doesn't need to be Mitsubishi.
All major mechanical parts are original such as the 2.4, 4 cylinder, ASTRON 4G53 engine.
I'm not concerned if the work needs to include some alterations e.g. adapter plate or propshaft modification as the main aim is to keep the Jeep on the road.
If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate hearing from you,
