I have 30+ year experience in the Motor trade I run my own Rally Prep Centre in North Wales,restoring older Rally cars and even Modernday Machinery I am willing to help and teach you if needed.

I welded up a Mk 1 Escort about 20 years ago and haven't touched a welder since. I've been giving some serious thought to relearning it - but our local college course are all at the wrong time.

oooohh nice to see another north wales member, hi matey, am just down the coast in llandudno. will have to meet up for a brew at some point. i have a welder and can stick stuff together but not pretty at all. could do with a few pointers at some time.

Great to see folk helping each other out. There are some useful tutorials in MIG welding on www.mig-welding.co.uk/ which are a good place to start, get yourself a bit of practice, then go and see yer man for a bit of help. |

well..... ive been a bit of a cock. had a pm for Dave saying it was the 9th...... i managed to somehow work out that was saturday which i couldnt make . just reading this and now find the 9th was Friday-yesterday..... i was off yesterday  , and coiuldve made it after all. FFS ahhh well, sounds like ya had a good time  |
