well as some of you may know my car started off blue i then turned it a form of matt black for £26 I'm now thinking about painting it again my 2 main ideas being a propper matt black or a bright yellow, as I'm regularly seeing a yellow mk1 fiesta 1100S and it just looks the nuts with the black stripes over the yellow and its totally standard bar a roof rack in the beginning now cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORD-FIESTA-MK1_W0QQitemZ110039535435QQihZ001QQcategoryZ9844QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemnice yellow one on fle bay

I've gotta say, Slater's right, a proper paint job means PROPER work! Depends how nice you want it to be, and how much time and effort you want to invest, and obviously how much work the car needs to prep (rust-wise - no point painting over crust!) If you're up for the job, go for yellow - other wise some people might not notice all that hard work! (personally I'd think about bright orange or bright green, too....)

I reckon either keep it matt black, or red oxide it and get some early chrome bumpers going on

As said, proper paint is hard work, but if thats what you want go to it. That yellow in the eBay ad looks like JCB paint.
