Seat Leon rear door faff

	Leon doors, as I have found are notorious for leakage through the rather poor seals which reeks havoc with the electrickery within. I have a poor history with this Leon after cracking the front passenger window whilst attempting to repair the broken window mech. That front door still doesn't lock (busted the locking mech after doing the window : and the glass is well, plastic. Looks curse word and doesn't help the water ingress but meh, it'll do for now. What I can't seem to sort is the rear passenger door. Both stopped unlocking though one has since started working again. The stuck one I just can't get open, child lock is on I'm guessing and no amount of buggering about inside the door panel seems to release the locking mech. I can't see a way of releasing the mech whilst the door is shut and can't get the curse word open either. Anyone have any ideas or personal experience? I've tried searching the net with very little success.

	Depending on the set-up of the child lock lever (look on the other door to see its position) it might be possible to get a bit of stiff wire into the door gap and flick off the child lock?

	the rear door mechanism on the leon, golf mk4 and octavia mk1 all have the deadlocking built in to the lock itself. they are prone to locking and deadlocking, and not unlocking themselves mates octavia done the same thing as your Leon, and the only way to undo the door was to get in to the back of the lock mechanism (after getting the door card off with the door shut), and beat the damn thing to bits thankfully i had the new one to go in though, otherwise i'd imagine the door wont shut very well after wards ;D

Child lock is a inset button type arrangement that needs a flat blade to adjust sadly. Strikes me that the chances of further brokenness are high as there's hardly room to swing a baby field mouse. Was kind of hoping there was a secret special trick without damaging nowt and I'd be able to recondition it with lashings of wd40 and a few taps with the adjusting stick.
