Model: Fiesta Ghia 16v
Year: 1999 (V reg)
Mileage: 135,000
Tax: 6 months
MOT: 12 months
Location: Hull, East Yorkshire
or Barton-on-humber, North Lincolnshire
Price: £600ono
I'm selling my 1.25 16v fiesta as I need the money towards a new car. Its just been taxed and passed its MOT. There was an advisory on it needing a CV boot and corrosion on the sills. I've bought a CV boot and it will be fitted once the weather improves.
Sills are £15 a side however my mechanic says they're solid (after giving them a kicking with his steel toe caps!)
The interior has some marks and the parcel shelf is no longer part of it. It has a working CD / radio, working aircon, electric windows, heated windows remote central locking etc
I inherited this car last year from my grandfather when my escorts head gasket went, he's lost the service history baring a few odds and sods. In the last few years it has had: a new clutch fitted by a garage (with reciept) all four shocks replaced with quality monroe items. battery, regular servicing etc
This month I have replaced the front discs and pads and the rear shoes. It also had new leads, plugs, airfilter, oil filter, oil etc.
The only negative things are its got some scuffs and dents, couple of tyres getting low and as mentioned wear on the interior.
Ideal daily hack, park it anywhere, always starts, heaters work really well, costs sod all to insure. My grandad was getting over 50mpg out of it but he drives slowly.
Its very capable in snow as well being FWD and having little wheels, having been all over in bad weather I'd rather keep it but I'm short of cash on a car I really want
