my mate has bouht a mk2 polo bread van and I'm currently talking him into modding it beyond belief. its getting a wooden roof on saturday (cheers for the tips jettadelux)
i want him to change the wheels but not sure which will fit.
idealy they need to be very retro looking (a bit like cooper s reverse rims) or bay window camper rims. something along those lines??
can anyone suggest anything???

ummmmm. what's the budget? There's a million choices for a 4x100 polo. Also how much is it lowered, and are you wanting to upgrade the brakes (as 14" rims are often more sensible, get bigger brakes in). For a non-obvious choice, try some stock wheels from another manufacturer by checking out the pcd-o-matic

don't forget the breadvan Polo runs slash cut rear arches, so you aint gonna get much pokeage if you want to run low, its a compromise!

Some 13" Honda alloys don't look bad although i don't think you can beat the 14" golf steelie painted something like gloss red with correct profile tyres and the factory plastic centrecaps in black for a little contrast, as said the rear arch might need a little cutting back or rolling.

not sure how much he will be lowering it, probably sort the wheels out first and then worry about lowering it.
his budget is as little as possible

and hes not fussed about brake up grades as hes keeping it mechanically standard.
