I'd totally forgotten about the Derby. Apologies to VW fans, as I find them too 'scene', but that's something different. Nice and simple, and not trying too hard.

Lovely looking Derby. I've always had a softspot for these....I used to have a Mk1 Polo and wished I'd kept it.

My Father had one. It was white but being a 'T' reg it had a different front end.
Great looking car, it brings back my childhood memories!

My Father had one. It was white but being a 'T' reg it had a different front end. Great looking car, it brings back my childhood memories! My mother had a Mars red 'T' reg Polo which had the earlier front end too. It wasn't the fancy pants LS version though - just the 'N'. It was a lovely car nonetheless and so much nicer to drive than the mk1 Golf in my view. David

Right, quick spec, there's bound to be stuff i've missed, but Mark did such an amazing job of this before i bought it off him, it really is hard to list everything he's done, but basically... 1300 SPI engine from a polo, Mk1 Golf GTI vented discs and pads Mk3 polo front struts, shortened to accomodate mk1 golf coilies. 80mm rear lowering springs Audi 80 coúpe to mounts Mk3 polo clocks (with rev counter) Rare are hell 13" OZ Racing alloys, 6 & 8j staggered (Sending these away to get repainted gunmetal grey tomorrow!) Audi 50 rear lights Momo steering wheel Wolfsburg gearknob Clear indicators CD player, hidden under the dash Vibe speakers, in custom made speaker pods in the door cards 4 branch manifold Battery and washer bottle relocated in the boot Amp in the boot Header tank removed Smoothed engine bay That's about it i think...enjoy some more pictures! Sorry if any are re-posts! First picture i took outside my house! LOVE the stance on this.... And finally, my favourite picture of the car so far... Thanks for looking!

thats superb, love how clean that is. keep up the good work, and try to stear away from "scene" ods, imo could ruin the prestine look of the car.
