Anyone who's got a 2 door car, i need a favour, can you measure me the dimensions arrowed in this pic on your rear arches please? I'm really struggling to get hold of a repair panel for the 929 koops rear arches, so i'm looking for something of a similar dimension that i can cannibalise and make fit.. They should look like the ones on this, a bit flared if you like? Many Thanks *this doesn't include your 929 koop Mr_Bo11ox ;D*

I'd be tempted to visit your local repair panel supplier and see what they've got. I'm about to do that for my Dad's iccle Subaru Justy van.

yeah looks like a fairly unremarkable wheelarch shape so you oughta be able to find something OK.

I was gonna do that when I had my AE86 in the end I just made my own and welded in three sections the flare, the flat side and the inner lip. Wasnt too bad to do. Would have been a damn site easier if I had propper panels though, but I didnt have the money to do that either at the time.
If I was you I would walk round a scrapyard with a tape measure anotebook and a side proflie of the arches. It will probably work out better for you if you do it that way then you will be able to get a flare that is closer as well

Never did find a repair panel for my '81 Celica. Tried quite a few other repair panels, none of them 'looked' right and would have needed a fair bit of persuasion to fit. So I cut all the grot out (about 3" into the panel), welded it all back together and boshed some Supra MA61 arches on..... Problem solved This guy advertises these on the UK ebay every now and again and has some dimensions in his advert. These are on at the moment as well - might be worth a question to the seller to measure them up. Good luck in your search anyway.

there is a company in Belgium still offering body panels for a lot of (retro) cars; the offer arches for the 929 sedan; probably a chance to make them fit ? If not, a nice website to browse... here is the link : www.warny.be

I just replaced the rear arches on the GTi-R, and couldn't get repair panels for a 3-door. Got ones for a 4-door, thinking they'd be a good starting point but they took a fair amount of work to get looking right. At first glance the only difference seemed to be where the 4-door ones were shaped to fit the rear door shut, but the section behind the bumper was very different and the height from sill to swage line was different.
When I replaced the rear panel of the Toyota, I made a cardboard template of the curvature and my local motor factor allowed me to wander around their store checking their stock for something that matched - worth having a chat with yours?
