Hi there, One of my work colleagues has bought this Cadillac with the sole purpose of 'banger racing' her? ? It is UK registered with tax and mot still on it! Ok, its not the prettiest car in the world, but with abit of work and time it could be a nice cruiser surely? ? I think its a 4.1 v8?? might be wrong, but it has the comfiest interior in the world, wire wheels, all chrome parts, electric everything, and still taxed and tested! If anyone else thinks its a crime to banger this car, might be worth making him an offer? maybe even a swap??? Thanks, Tom. P.s its in snodland, by maidstone in kent.

What IS criminal is when cars like this: Are stolen by scum, and then banger raced. I read about this unfortunate Datsun the other day, and stillo can't get my head around the mentality of some people. I'm sorry, but it's his car and he is fully entitled to do what he wants with it. There certainly isn't anything criminal about his intentions.

tomtyres - I think you might have spilled some Tizer under your question mark key.

I'd be interested in the wire wheels if they are the proper bolt on type they appear to be in the photos.
There was one almost identical to this, in fact I'd like to bet it was this which was on eBay offering the trim and other parts before it gets bangered, I messaged about the wheels then but was told they were sold already.
I'd also be interested in the switch panels in the drivers door - all of them assuming its electric seats as well as windows. Apparently the switches behind the panels are same as fitted in my '67 Olds believe it or not.

He bought it, he can do what he likes with it. I bet he'll have a great laugh! For those that don't know, this car ^^ is the same (fully restored) Datsun as posted above after it was 'prepared' and raced. Banger racing isn't a crime, stealing is. Thread locked.
