Hi guys and gals Well i left school six years ago now, it was bad early on but smoothed out once id met the right people. We had a leavers ball type of thing and i had recently split up with my girlfriend, fortunatly this left me with more transport options that the normal shitbox smells of puke limo. I ended up speaking to the local garage owner about his hotrod, only two seats, but how much does that matter? ZIPP! I was the last to arrive, with electric blue spiky hair, a tux, DC skate shoes, and in a supercharged 'sit up and beg' ford pop on open pipes. He did a small rolling burnout one i was decamped from the vehicle, i couldent have been cooler at the time! Also my girlfriend was sorry as she arrived in the back of a hilux sitting on hay bales! A very good memory for me, that thing went like the clappers and sounded like a top fuel funny car. Super ace! Not too sure why i posted this, just saw the picture in my mums room and thought you guys might appreciate it. Cheers J

Are those Davrians finished yet? I think Roger's yellow one was destined for an imp race engine and the blueish one a VTEC.
How's the supercharged imp going too?

Top-quality transport!
How times change though, I left in 1994 (aged 16) and we didn't have any of this prom / "leavers' ball" business. Just sit on the school field at night drinking cider. Plus, at the time I went EVERYWHERE either on a grey-primer-and-guide-coat Raleigh Burner (nobody understood ;D) or by skateboard.....
But I digress....good work!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

it was my 'prom' all of 4 months ago....I was gonna go in the Scimitar, but some friends wanted to come and so i thought that that was too small. Cue, my dad's friends Ford Consul. While all the lasses in my year were doing their hair, I spent the day polishing the Consol! ;D Us... (i'm the 2nd in from the right) The car ;D

There I was laughing away to myself, then realised I couldn't remember what the hell I did when I left college... It's taken me a day to remember it was that long ago. Luckily the picture of me stood next to my Morris Minor (mars red, lowered, alleycats) in a penguin suit is a print. And it's staying that way. I guess the laugh is on me...
