	afternoon, alternator belt snapped last night, got a new one today from GSF and it isnt big enough. it goes round the bottom pulley, the one next to it (water pump pulley?) then upto the alternator (obviously). but the one i have, oly goes round the bottom two pulleys ad nowhere near the alternator. 1989 scirocco 1.8 GT cheers

	have they given you a power steering belt of a mk2 golf with the same engine code?
