	hallo there I'm new to this game( computers) so please bare with me. anyway ive just bought a 1987 toyota hiace rio camper its just getting m.o.t.d in good nick and should be ready for the road next week. thing is i want to fit a liasure battrie and could do with some advice also thinking of fitting mains hookup is this a big job and do you think it would be worth the hastle? also could do with some idea on costs. cheers.

	Hello, If you mean that you want to run mains from your new leisure battery, that's quite easy. All you need is an inverter. Low power ones (a few hundred watts) are cheap, but the sky is the limit for more powerful and better quality inverters. Basically you connect the battery to the inverter, and the inverter will usually have a 230v socket for you to run your appliance. Getting the car to charge up the battery involves a bit of wiring though. I found a website for Hilux Surfs that gave a good explanation. Have a search for that.
