HI all we are about to have a burntwood spray booth fitted in our garage and have been looking in to hiring it out on weekends ect for people to paint there own car. We have spoken to or insurance and it is all good with them.
Our garage is in Barry south wales so just asking around to see if there would be any body wanting this service, we might also do the same with our lift's

Hi there not to sure what will happen with the lift hire yet but give us a shout and we can have a chat..
We have been looking at prices and are thinking it will be around £150 to paint a car (we will look at each request and work out a specific price) we will also include the use of an air fed mask in the hire. How does that sound.

A place local to me charges £70 over night or £100 a day (weekends only) 2 bakes max.
All you get is the booth and air lines, you have to take all waste and thinners away with you and its strictly cash only.
Gets plenty of takers too.

My fear would be the idiots who've never painted before trying to use it then whinging when they get reactions/runs etc. Still if it's for people with a bit of experience who don't have their own booth it's a good idea. |

hi, I used to work for itw devillbiss years ago.. I would be very interested. problem is car nowhere near sorted yet.. but the idea off using ramp sounds good. could get most off the underbody welding done in a day..
