My Mum's Mini 30... Back from the bodyshop yesterday. It's had: * 2 wings * front panel * Windscreen out - scuttle panel * Inner wing repairs * Door skins * A-Panels * repairs to the bodywork just in front of the rear arches * rear screen out and body repairs * new bonnet * almost a full respray (I think only the roof was left untouched!) Everything has been well waxoyled but I'll be doing it again myself just to make sure, before the winter... It looks great! Not 100% show quality perfect, but fantastic all the same! Not bad for 10 days in the shop and £1500 all in... She's had it since new (1989) and it's part of the family... I love driving it! The original 998 lump died so there's a 1275 in there now. The interior is immaculate too!

Indeed! She'll never have anything other than a Mini - the 30 is her third, and it made sense to spend the cash on one that we know the history of, know the engine is good etc... You couldn't buy another one in as good nick for that money.

That's a lovely car, especially considering how good value that bodyshop is! I bet it's a practical car to use too, with the 1275 engine.

Looking good! I think your Jonathon took me out for a spin in that Mini once, very nice! Has it got a straight-through exhaust or a four-branch or something, has the trademark sound like the Racing Lada and Golf! ;D

It was 998 once, but that blew so it seemed the perfect opportunity to drop an MG Metro 1275 lump in there!

Sound like top value from the body shop. Go on...give them a plug. Maybe other members nearby would like to take advantage of their low low prices.
