DaveRapid, another Skoda enthusiast and his daughter, and I went to Croft on Sunday to watch some racing. £10 for the full day was really good value in my books.
My pics.
In the paddock.
The tidiest P100 I think I have ever seen! It was beutiful - check out that tailgate! It was a tow vehicle, but I can't remember for what racer, though I think it was a MK2 Escort.
Rather cool Mini. The wheels were something else.
MK2 Escort
Porsche 911 Carerra RS. You'll notice the reg plate. It raced, but was also road legal too!
BMW E30. Straight six. I forget what the engine was breathing through now.
A well styled MG B.
I don't know what the deal was here. I expect these were all entered by a company heavily into the Ford modifing scene or something. I don't know, when I saw this, I couldn't help but imagine the same sort of line up, but with Skoda's!
Batter MK2 Fezz
Check out the negative camber on the front!
Rather nice and retro Elan
And this was in the paddock also, but not racing. A really nice Princess. Saying that the paint wasnt perfect. It was forsale at £1150
Non-retro, but damn'd hot. A 996 GT3. Just pure hot Love it
Now my racing pics.
THE MG!
Bruisers
The variety racing together. The TR7 was really going for it after he spun on the first lap, rather entertaining.
The Cosworth and MG out together. Notice the slight tail-out action of the MG.
Racing yellow
Racey Cosworth (photoshop had nothing to do with this pic! )
I hope you like them. Sorry about the grainy-ness of some of them. I believe it to be an issue with my camera.
