1999 BMW E46 323 (2.5 engine) SE.
Taxed end of April 2012.
MOT'd Feb 2012 (will re-test for right deal or money).
Being the SE it has all the toys inc. (working) parking sensors, (working) heated front seats, nice trim, multi-CD player, switchable traction control, trip computer, nice (genuine) BMW alloys etc.
Absolutely great fun to drive, goes like a scalded cat yet is very easy to drive sensibly.
Definately easier to live with an Subaru turbo (I know, I had one once!) and fuel wise it's not bad at all. I've had 29.6mpg out of it without trying too hard on the six mile commute to work and it'sll single carriage roads.
Not long since had brakes done and an engine service I believe.
Handbooks etc present.
163,000 miles, which is the square root of naff all to these engines.
Known faults:
Dint on bottom of n/s/r door.
Airbag light on, seems a common problem on these, I believe it's related to rear seat passengers catching their feet on a wire under the seat.
Usual E46 wheel arch bubbling.
Some 'age related' marks as you'd expect.
Slight pull to the left I suspect tracking out.
Any inspection more than welcomed, if you live miles away ask anyone you like who may be nearer to inspect it on your behalf and report back. I have nothing to hide and don't do people over.
£1195 ono, offers welcomed but I'm only going to take you seriously if you're stood here in front of me. Talk is cheap and all that.
Morons/txt tlkrs/dreamers stay away. I'm an easy going bloke but I don't suffer fools easily.
Would swap or part-ex (no money from me though, I'm skint!) for something else.
Preference? Vespa scooter (geared only and must be roadworthy), Lambretta scooter or Japanese two stroke project, modern or old car, campervan or what have you?
Please absolutely NO Mondeos, Lagunas, Kas, Golfs or Focus (Focii?]
Car is in Chester, Cheshire very close to M53/A55/A41/A483 etc and dead easy reach of M6 North and South. Viewing can also be arranged in Ellesmere Port or Chester Services (M56) area if wanted.
