Hi there does anybody out there have any pics of any unusual or nicely executed, IE. customized big cats out there as i am lately developing a huge hankering for one as a project, my dad has had a curse word load of them in the past and currently owns a Mk10 with a 2.7 N/A Nissan diesel engine and auto box from an fx4 London cab i would like to go in the same direction with the oil burner conversion but find a fairly rough one and make it into something different that i would be able to do that would be realistic for a 19 year old like myself to accomplish, but am struggling finding inspiration as not many have been done that i know of apart from ''The Beast'' and the john fluevog one would anybody out there care to assist me in finding ''mojo'' thankyouplease? ;D ta.

Cloud 9 wedding vehicles for hire in Sydney. "Jaguar MK10 1963 Model / 4-door Saloon English Red Leather Trim 6 Litre Supercharged V8 20" Vertini Wheels Surround Sound System LED Extreme Lighting System Air Conditioned" That's quite some wedding car they're offering there. I can't decide if it's a real company or not, it's all a bit Fantasy Island.

Magnificent and massively underappreciated automotive behemoths - good choice! Fixer-uppers can still be had for reasonably affordable sums but you'd need deep pockets to tackle an extensive restoration / customisation. I have to admit the thought of running a diesel in this fantastic car makes my blood run cold! (The word 'sacrilege' springs to mind). I know of a very good custom Mk X / 420G with a huge yank V8 but my Google Fu is also weak today and I can't find the car. During development Jaguar experimented with some big yank V8's before deciding to stick with their XK unit. It was unfortunate that timelines didn't quite match up and this car didn't end up utilising the V12, 420G's were used as testbed vehicles when the V12 was under development. There was a reason the XK engine took major race titles, it was and still is a remarkably good engine, it was potent but it was also very well engineered and designed with longevity in mind. The actual design saw its own longevity and served Jaguar through 4 decades which speaks volumes to the quality of the original engine design. If you rebuilt an original XK lump to a good standard and used all the period performance camshafts, pistons, heads, etc. you'd have a very good engine which would more than keep up with modern traffic. If you want to impress people by lifting the bonnet, a polished XK lump would take some beating! It's an Automotive work of art, a 3D functional sculpture, a symphony in 6 cylinders; I am aware of one chap who has put the Jag V12 into his 420G; Jaguar 530GMk X with a surprise; Mk X with attitude

That is lovely! Not a fan of big cars but the Mk10/420G is an exception. When my parents had a pub one of their customers had a gold Mk10 with a blood-red leather interior - used to droll over that every time it was in, car was kept absolutely spotless. If the numbers ever come up I shall have one! :-)
