My Minx is about ready for MOT, but paranoia combined with lack of knowledge have kicked in (put not intended...)
Kickdown, BW35 - should I be able to feel the "click", when the engine's not running? Can't feel a click and am worried about driving and damaging the box.
Or is there some way I can tell if it's working / in adjustment, without taking it for a spin (it's out of MOT).
Last one, any ideas for a workshop manual from a BW35-equipped car that has info on adjusting inhibitor and kickdown etc would be tops.

edit - meant "inhibitor" not modulator..
