Can anyone recomend a company that will straighten chrome bumpers? preferably in east anglia but I will travel for a pukka job. Also the bumpers on the Sapporo are three piece and I'm looking for somebody who can make and chrome the corner sections. I'm Just thinking about the corners for now as they're quite hard to come by, I've got a NOS n/s/r one but all my o/s/r one are wibblepoo Any help highly appreciated. Thanks.

Wouldn't it be less hassle (and cheaper) to make up the sections you guys need then have them chromed? A specialist will no doubt hit you with some sort of tale about how tricky they are and take all your money. (Stuyizz, like the Sapporos!)

Good point, but they are tricky to make (for me anyway) hence the need of a good specialist

i can recomend a guy just outside Haverhill in Essex, he has built a car for me and done a top job i have had a chat with him today and he said to get in touch and let him know what you need doing. his name is Simon and he works at Marquis Cars tel 01787-237770 Retro Car magazine have done one or two features on him and i have to say he is a very helpfull guy and he dose not charge the earth

dunno about straightening, but I know of a good platers in marks tey, if you want I can dig out the number I've spoke to that guy before and I think I caught him on a bad day,he'd just paid the huge tax bill from brussles which anybody with a large chemical tank had to pay ( about £70,000 :o0)

It was a one off "back door tax" which killed lots of smaller platers because the time scale between getting told about it and having to stump up the cash was tiny. Supposedly for enviromental reasons, but how does shafting a small buisness help the enviroment? It was along the same lines as Gorden browns "one off" pension rape! W**kers!
