one thousand nine hundred and eighty two posts. Nineteen eighty two cars. It's a tedious link, but i fancied posting some pictures of old cars Car of the year 1982! My grandfather had one of these, in Gold. It was lovely (although I hated it at the time....) Tom Hoovers Famous 'Showtime' Corvette at the 1982 World Finals at Santa Pod. Take your poncey "Navaro" and stick it! This is proper Here's your parcel sir.... just brush the rust off, sorry, it's been in the back of my van. Is that a mannequin she's just unloaded from her highly capacious Chevette, or is her child dunk and needs holding up?

Nothing tedious about this thread. I thought that shape 5-series carried on with bigger back lights until `87/88? Seen E-reg ones, and never seen the next shape older than an F. That Samba rallye looks good, bet it would have been a fun little car.

***Useless fact Alert***:
:- With regard to the Marina Post office Vans I was told last week from a friend who is a BMC/Leyland obsessive that NO ex postal Marina Vans survive unlike the previous Minor vans of which many survive (said friend has one in his BMC collection).

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts
