1998 Jaguar 3.2 Xj8 Sport 135,000 miles Aldershot hants 07983 393344 Mot March 2012 Right lads this is the jag that you have always wanted to own the one that definatly growls at you when you press the loud pedal at traffic lights Very high spec sports edition Xj8 with the power and sound of the V8 engine that sounds like a deep roaring big cat along with the fully loaded Black and white leather interior makes this jag just that little bit special, The interior option that this jag has is a very desirable option for all jaguar enthusiasts as you can see in this picture it really does do the trick along with all the goodies that this car has it really isnt one to be missed. Overall the car is in very good condition with only age related wear and tear , the passenger side window and central door lock doesnt work but when you press the button you can hear the solenoid working so I beleive it could just be the main connection in the door that needs recconecting ... I havent had the time to whip the door card off to have a look but I'm sure its an easy fix and not anything expensive. So what you waiting for then you could be driving a luxury car today for the same money as a fiesta costs For any more information regarding this car please call me on 07983 393344 veiwing is recommended Attachments:

Couple of questions, really:
1: Any history with it, in particular any information on engine replacement or work under the recall for Nikasil failure?
2: Dude. You mentioned the sexy interior, but no pictures of it! Sounds lovely, has my attention, more pics please - even if I'm just dreaming, I'm sure someone will go for it if they get to see what it's properly like.
Point 1 though, is the main reason why I've yet to take the plunge on an XJ/XK8 for banger money.

I believe when the factory recalled engines, those replaced had a green sticker on the rear of one of the heads. It's also what's put me off an xjr. They do say though that if it's still running well now then it's not likely to let go.
Nice car

3.2l or 4l?
Just nosy, I can't afford another one (and it might help with a sale, 'tho not as much as some better pictures would!).

Good point, well made, but let's say I've just been paid for some new work[1] and fancied a V8 cruiser[2] - I'm not going to travel to see some random shed, 'cause as we all know a car we like which isn't up to much (and I am not expecting much from a £995 car, just sensible budgeting) can cost many times the purchase price, or be awesome - you just don't know.
It sounds appealing. But as you say, it's scrap money. So from my perspective, it could be that I'm just buying some scrap I don't need, or some repair bills I don't want - and as it is, no pic of the interior or anything, makes it hard to be tempted.
[1] So, the invoices are outstanding, but hey...
[2] I do, and it wasn't enough for me to buy the lovely SD1 I am looking after, so I am open to suggestions.
