Red 2000 Y reg 4 door rover 45 1.4 petrol, civic era. Bought for our child as the only 4 seater we had was an FTO with rock hard suspension. The child is nearly 8 months and is happy in the FTO now. So surplus to requirements.
Mot till end of month, just out of tax so sorned (can tax at new owners expense).
Positives:
Bright red paintwork, no rust as far as I can see, all arches solid. Taken us to Scotland and back no problems. Driven quite a few thousand without issue.
Just over 60k when I bought it so had the belts and pulleys done, HG looks fine. When they were done it looks like the cambelt had been done not too long before. Only around 62-63K. Oil and filter just changed
Negatives:
Passenger door handle snapped, Still works just wants the boss glueing back on or another handle sorting.
Could do with front pads/front disks as brakes are a bit rubbish. Kwik fit suggested new pads.
Not sure if anything else wrong as not a mechanic.
Couple of slight marks on body consistent with age.
