Hello Everybody, I KNOW ITS NOT THAT RETRO, BUT I'm CRAVING FOR A MANUAL CAR AGAIN.
1995 Subaru Legacy GT (BG5) - Import
2.0 Twin Turbo (EJ20) Factory 250BHP
Automatic Transmission
Navy Blue with Gold Alloys
MOT Till - 12.07.12
TAX Till - 31.08.12
Clocks are still KM and mileage reads 140338km. This will go up as it’s my daily.
I’m funding for a new car so this has to go even though I said I would keep it for longer than intended but I need a manual car even though this has more than I need it must go. A perfect runner for the months to come, just insure and drive. In the few months I’ve had it, I’ve covered less than 3000 miles and have done all work necessary so the next owner can drive in peace.
Car runs perfect engine and box don’t smoke or rattle, gear change is smooth and precise, put you foot don’t and it’ll rev to the redline, the car does run much better on Super unleaded and Power mode as it wants to rev more freely in this mode.
No diff problems or leaking drive shafts. Suspension is original units and are in good condition. I was going to change pads and discs all round but they are still ok and deserve thousands of more miles on them so I wouldn’t bother with these unless you want to up rate them.
I have the original Kenwood Subaru head unit that will come with the car.

Radiator
Water pump
New coolant
Thermostat
Castrol Oil (10W40)
Oil filter
NGK Plugs
Air filter
Timing Belt kit - Continental
Lambda sensor - Bosch
1 Ignition coil – Subaru OEM
4 Tyres – Uniroyal rain sport
Wipers all round - Valeo
Bad Bits: I’m being picky here.
Bumper scuffs mainly on the rear – nothing major.
Front NSF wing has been keyed by someone previously.
Front NSF door also keyed.
Slight bonnet dent and scratch.
Bonnet scoop could do with repainting.
Slight window tint peel in one area, size of a 20p coin.
Central locking relay is temperamental but works 99% of the time.
PRICE: £1500
I think the price is good value and reflects the spec and the work done, the new owner just has to insure and fill petrol, nothing to really worry about. The bad bits are only cosmetic and don’t affect the performance of the car.
I AM OPEN TO P/X, ITS GOT TO BE J, CRAZY AND STUPID.
