Finally done them,.. www.retro-rides.com/gallery.asp?folder=40I'm riding well over the edge of my bandwidth so if the site stops working,.. don't blame me (going on a mission of better compression when I'm back off holiday),..

Yes! Yes! Yes! NO! NO! NO! Just a little exaggerated, but you get my point!

Yes! Yes! Yes! 5x112mm stud pattern? What's that about? On an L-plate it should be 4x130mm...an earlier Beetle would be 5x205mm. Are fake Empi 5s in short supply or something?

MWS replicas for bay-window/T3 buses. Late 4-stud drums and discs can be redrilled to fit them, which saves the back-track of fitting '66-'67 5 stud drums or mega expensive aftermarket wide 5 disc kits...

But not as easy as fitting wide-5 adapters? Seems a rather long way of getting a set of wheels on that don't look quite right IMO.

I guess that some people just don't like the idea of adapters. Plus if you're running front discs, the added offset coupled with the already increased track that discs have (especially if you're running "dropped" spindles) shove the wheels right outside the wing line.
Yeah, agreed that the wheels don't look right but there again MWS copies of any description never really do on any car IMHO...
Anyway. Moving on...
