ok so my car is 12v, but i want to run hydraulics at 24v, so going to run 2 seperate batteries in series to power the hydraulics.
question is do i earth the 24v setup to the chassis? or just to the hydraulics? does it matter either way?
sounds silly but just checking. cheers

Are you going to pump the oil out of the rams or just use gravity to lower the car as you may want to reverse the power to the 24v pump . You may need to isolate the pump from the chassis .
