I reckon that's retro (and extremely sexual).
Nice pics.

G plate means It can't be any newer than 1990 thus making it retro IMO.
Any way retro or not its cooler than a Polar Bears polar something
I like it ALOT

The G plate looks like it might be a cherished transfer, so gives no actual clue as to it's real age. Although a quick check with the DVLA website would confirm all Although it's a car I'd love to own and is probably of an age when other cars could be considered retro because Porsche have kept a very similar silhouette for all 911s it just doesn't look that special to me.

(It could be newer though). Anyway, cracking motor :-)

Where is that meet held? Cheers

964s were available on G plates. Technically the next model - the 993 was the last air cooled Porsche 911. 964s were and are still very much the unloved 911 and some bargains could be had up until a few years ago. The problem was that the car looked very new (in the 80s) and there were some teething problems with the dual Dizzy, people didnt like the 4 wheel drive carrera 4 - which came out first. That colour is rainforest green and was a hated colour back in the 80s. Its strange how it has come back into fashion again. Nice pictures - thanks for sharing....

Hi Guys - Simon from Retro Cars sent me the link to this, and it was lovely to see the nice comments on the car. its a H plate 1990 C2 manual in Forest Green with cream leather. I fitted KW coilies and the 18inch Cup 2s - which are actually very rare, as porsche only made cup 2s in 17s. I have got some twisty splits for it, which are going on for ultimate dubs once winter subsides!! Lovely pictures Nick, the side on one really shows the ride height off!! And yes I am on edition 38, but haven't put any pics of my porsche on there, only my old audi cab & mk1. ~ Matt

Looks great, brilliant nose down stance. So if Porsche didn't make 18" Cup 2's where are yours from?

Very nice. It definitely qualifies for here. Rav confirmed my own thoughts, and I think even a 993 qualifies as retro.
Back to that 964, and it almost passes for a later car. Nice upgrades to clear lenses, good wheel choice and lovely colour scheme. I wasn't into 964's but this is the nicest I've seen.
