I know not strictly car related, but damned usefull for little fettling bits of jobs I'm sure you'll agree Anyways, I have hundreds of these things and have put together a little selection bundle. All top grade industrial quality, of British manufacture. All I'm asking is £5 a bag which includes all the abrasive points pictured below. (Tape measure not included ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) ) ![](http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z21/plrdshw/DSC_0835.jpg) Postage I would guess at about £3 or come and collect, and have a rummage through the hundreds of these and carbide tools we have. 3mm ball carbide cutter £5 per 2 ![](http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z21/plrdshw/DSC_0843.jpg) Carbide 'Fir Tree' cutter 3mm shank. £5 per 2 ![](http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z21/plrdshw/DSC_0844.jpg)

All these bits will work on steel.
Operating speeds would be around 5,000 rpm as they are cutting tools rather than grinding

I notice you mentioned in your other thread about these that you have some course cutters suitable for aluminium. Do you have any of that type in the 3mm shank?
I prefer porting with a dremel type tool and light flexi drive, much easier to use but i havent found any proper aluminium cutters with a 3mm shank.
Flame/ball/tree type shapes would all be useful!

I think I've got some small carbide straight cutters that can be used like a 'RotorSaw' thing.
I'll have a look

Having sorted through a bit more, I've now found these out; 3mm shank - £5 a pair posted ![](http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z21/plrdshw/DSC_0900.jpg) 6mm - £4 each posted ![](http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z21/plrdshw/DSC_0901.jpg) And a quick little test piece. These grooves were done in one pass and in total took me 5 minuites, including changing the tools and putting the dremel away! ![](http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z21/plrdshw/DSC_0903.jpg) Again, these are industrial quality, British made solid carbide tools

How many different types of 3mm Carbide burr have you got - suitable for porting manifolds and heads in iron/steel/ally?
If you could let me know the range - I see about 5 different types above? Let me know a price for a pair of each type posted (UK), with pics of any not listed above.

My pair of Carbide ball cutters arrived this morning. I was outside cutting stuff up within about 20 minutes. Perfect, even for re-shaping the dropouts on a very thick steel bike frame. Thanks!
