here I have for sale: Mercedes 300sl (1988) very low milage at 66,000 only 2 owners from new. absolute mint condition, no scratches, dinks anywhere, mot and tax have expired but can do mot or both at extra cost. £14000 no offers, car is currently located in Market Harborough but I may well move it to Northampton. please any questions message via retrorides... many thanks. I wouldn't call 17,000 a bargain! I misread it @ £1700 actually, hence my pm!!! Maybe it's because I can remember a few years ago when they were less to buy than an r129 and £4k bought you a presentable one! Doh! So did I! Skim reading while trying not to get caught at work on net whilst eating brioche fail! Sorry, either way it looks like a beaut. Love these cars. |

17K sounds alot to me.
a friend of a friend of my dads was trying to sell an '89 500sl v8 about 5/6 years ago.
was forsale for months and months at £6k. that was a very tidy black one/cream leather with just over 100k.
think he sold at 5500.... not sure.

i suggest you guys do more research rather than talk about it, look around the dealers these go for between 10k -30k in showrooms, in this condition...mint... cheers |
