I didn't do one at the end of the year, but Seth's excellent thread has spurred me on to dig the hard-drive out and review all the car stuff I saw in 2011. So here we go...
We started the year by buying a new car - an '02 Leon Cupra 20V T. Not at all retro, but I frickin' love it.
Got it to replace this pile of misery:
Movin' on...
The year began, of course, with the RR Awards Night at the Ace.
Let's skip forward to April. (I can't remember what happened between Jan-Apr. Might come back to me.)
It's Wheels Day! My first time at the show, and it didn't rain. Lovely.
Gumball 3000 launch in Covent Garden in May.
Faversham Classic Car show.
Goodwood Breakfast Club - always superb.
Motorsport at the Palace. Sunburn-o-rama.
July - Goodwood Festival of Speed. Always my favourite weekend of the year. ;D
Chelsea Cruise, July.
September - Chelsea Auto Legends. Rained a bit.
Ecovelocity. Least busy car show I've ever been to.
Ace Cafe, Classic Night, September.
Chelsea Cruise again, September.
Goodwood Revival. How's that for a slice of fried gold?
Regent Street Motor Show.
November Breakfast Club.
Top Gear Live.
November Krispy Kreme meet.
There we go. There were other things, but that's pretty much the gist.
