Evening All,
I have discovered my CVH MK3 escort had the coolent pipes set up in correctly. I am meant to have a Y piece where the pipe from the heater matrix outlet and the engine block flow into a single pipe to the water pump.
I have managed to get hold of the Y piece the 3 pipe connect to from a scrap yard. Problem is, I have gone and snapped it being ham fisted.
So........
out with the araldite, and the piece is now sat on the radiator curing over night. However, if that doesn't work, I have already looked at copper 15m diametre T pieces in Wickes and B&Q and there isn't enough "overlap" to securely fasten the pipe onto the copper plumping piece.
So if my araldite fix does not work, what is an alternative?
This would be ideal but cannot locate a DIY store that stocks them
