I’ll break my full description down into sections so that you know exactly what you’ll be getting.
Mechanical:
The car is faultless. It uses no oil or water and the engine bay is clean and free from any fluid leaks. The brake discs and pads and as new and the car stops quickly without pulling in either direction. The gearbox shifts so smoothly you can hardly feel the change of gear and it has winter and sports modes. The exhaust is in excellent condition with no holes or corrosion. The car has a fully stamped service history and MOTs to back up the low mileage. The cam belt and tensioners were changed by a Vauxhall Main dealer. The Suspension is very smooth with no clonks or bumps. It soaks up bumps with ease and the bushes are all tight and in good working order. The steering is smooth from lock to lock and again free from any problems. Whilst its not the cheapest car on the planet to run, it does return an easily achievable 35 mpg on longer runs. I don’t use the car around town as I have a little runabout for this, so I find the fuel economy to be very good for a large family car.
Wheels and Tyres:
225/55/R16W tyres. Brand New and have done less than 10 miles. They are mounted on 16” Original alloy wheels which have no scuffs or marks. The spare tyre and tool kit is present in the boot along with the key for the locking wheel bolts. All wheel bolts have plastic cover caps.
Body Work:
The car has been washed and protected with Zymol waxes and sealant on a VERY regular basis. It has no bumps or scratches and it has a very deep shine. You will not find a better looking Omega anywhere. The factory fitted Xenon headlamps are self levelling and have a power wash facility that operates when the lights are on and the windscreen washers are used. The lights are brilliant.
Interior:
The interior is in cream velour with heated seats that work perfectly and dual zone climate control which is fully gassed and again works perfectly. The car has electric windows and sunroof, heated electric mirrors and heated washer jets. There is an in-dash 4 CD changer system which sounds excellent. The trip computer displays the following information: Outside Temperature, Stopwatch, Average Speed, Instant Fuel Consumption, Total Fuel Used, Average Fuel Consumption. The interior is completely unmarked and has been very well looked after, again I’m certain you won’t find a better one anywhere.
Conclusion:
All in all, this is a BRILLIANT car. If you’ve never been in one of the late model Omegas, forget all notion that its similar to a Vectra or Astra, it couldn’t be further from them. The build quality is excellent, the materials used are excellent. Its every bit as good to drive as a BMW 5 series and every bit as reliable. It has all the toys too and it qualifies you for membership of the Autobahnstormers club/forum
I’ve spent £600 on servicing, tyres and road tax for this car in the last week alone so that its 100% perfect and ready to go. You can buy a cheaper one but if you add the price of a cam belt change, FULL service incl aux belts and plugs, 4 new tyres, 6 months tax and the full valet and any bodywork you'd require to get it up to the standard of mine, it'll cost you far more and it'll still have higher miles.
I have a genuine reason for sale or she’d be staying put so please don’t be making any silly offers. I’m absolutely certain you won’t find a better one for sale anywhere with the same history, mileage and condition .
