Making brake pipes, last time I had to make some I had the devils own task on trying to find imperial sized brake unions in the local motor factors and the yankee parts places don't stock them "try your motor factors mate".
Any good online brake part type suppliers I can get some from?

Have you tried Halfords ? They used to have a file like folder with various nuts, bolts, clips, union etc examples encased in plastic. Probably a bit dear though if you want a few. Personally I used buy them in bulk (bags of 100) from motor parts wholesalers (Regor then Maccess at Manchester) but haven't been there for ages as now on-line suppliers far easier - especially if you don't want large quantities and often cheaper !

Talk to David at Llama 4x4. He's been getting the 4x4 fraternity out of trouble for years, seems to be able to source wierd stuff and will make any brake hose for peanuts. He can also make custom handbrake cables too. Be prepared for a chat though...... ;D

Is it for a yank? The British UNF nuts are different. I would try Rodley Motors or US Automotive (?) in Bedford.

yes, for a yank. US Automotive were the ones who suggested a Motor factor last time. I'll try them/Rodley motors as US Auto are usually very helpful.
