Here I have my BMW 325 TDS SE Touring.
1998, 132k, Has tax until the end of January and MOT until August/September.
In very clean condition inside and out, no dents or scrapes, no rips or wear on the interior, drives brilliantly, I spend my time either in South Wales or Gosport near Portsmouth and this BMW does 95% of its driving inbetween the two. It is a dream to drive on the motorways or round town, I'm averging 47mpg on a run easy peasy.
Has a tonneau cover for the boot and built in to it is a dog net. Doubt its been used!
Rear seats fold flat to allow for big things to fit, just like my parents washing machine!
Bad points, it is 13 years old, but there hardly 'bad'...
Key only rotates one way in the drivers door barrel, you can unlock it but can't lock it, solution if your lazy like me = Lock it from the passenger door (has central locking), solution if you're not quite as lazy as me = Put a battery in the key! Solution if you like doing things properly, pop off the door card and see why its not turning, worse case scenario it needs another barrel, couple of quid off ebay.
Boot struts are a bit weak, if you hold the boot open for a second or two it'll sometimes hold its self up but really it probably needs a strut or maybe both...
Gear change feels a little bit sloppy (worn selector bush) but I only really realise this when going from car to car, once I've driven it for 15 minutes I don't even realise. Perfectlly useable as is and of no real concern, I've never crunched the gears or put the car in the wrong gear!
Car will either in be Gosport or Port Talbot, South Wales.
I'm after £1300 but am open to P/X. I really want some sort of manual E34, a 535is, 540 etc etc
