Sold And collected this morning by Shaun,Sierrabravo999. top bloke and pleasure to make sell to fellow enthusiast through Retro Rides. Cheers
Only my 2nd post on here so please don't chew my ass off if I forgot something!
As in the title, i'm selling my Alfa 146 'Junior.' Being a slightly unfavoured at the time 146 makes it a relative rarity these days, being a Junior model even more so. This car now has 108,500 miles on the clock and is MOT'd untill 20th July 2012 and taxed till the end of Jan. I've owned since July 2010 which is a long termer for me ;D its been totally reliable and used daily - I would say un Italian in its reliabilty but I had 2 Alfa Sprints which were both great cars! - But its time I started using my other car (a 93 mazda 121 suntop thats done about 12 miles since its MOT 4 months ago) The std. Junior spec is
1.6TS engine 120bhp
Power Steering
Drivers Airbag
Front Electric Windows
Remote Locking, Alarm & Immobiliser
ABS brakes
15" Alloy wheels
Front Fog Lights
Rear Spoiler
Side Skirts
The Juniors got a quicker steering rack and lowered suspension of the Ti, model specific cloth interior and 15" alloys and a few Junior badges on the factory side skirts etc.
I have a near full service history for the car with a huge file of reciepts mostly from Desira in Norwich. The cambelt and tensioners were done in 2007 by Desira. New discs and pads in 2009 etc. It had 2 new budget front tyres for its MOT and the rears are Bridgestones with lots of life left Bizarely even with those tyres its remarkebly neutral handling for fwd car I have 2 keys plus the brown Master key.
A clean and suprisingly practical car, The boot is a good size the remote release works, the c/l works the windows work etc. Heck even all 4 fan speed work! and its got a bit of charcter for fwd euro box. Drives well no clutch/gearbox issues but does have noisey front wheel bearing but it was like that for the MOT and hasn't got any worse or any play. (GSF - and Italian I guess - were selling the correct 1 on ebay for about £30 a when I looked).
I'm looking for a quick and painless sale (without having to resort to ebay) before My insurance runs out on it on the 20th Jan so i'm asking for £500 ovno which I thinks fair. I'm in Kettering which is on the A14 so easy to get to from M1, M6 and A1 and the train station is 10 min walk away, that said I might be persuaded to deliver if you cover my costs so no excuses ;D PM me or reply in thread
Thanks for looking
Stewart
