So I went over to the scrappy yesterday: I was in luck. They had a pug 205, same year as mine, fresh in for breaking.
I purloined many useful nic-nacs, but chiefly some OEM rear speakers and assosciated wiring loom as well as an OEM peugeot/clarion radio-cassette (its a PU-9317A, for the record). I want to stick aforementioned stereo into my car.
This thing is code-protected, and the code isn't scrawled down in any of the handbooks/manuals that were in the glovebox as it often is (my car came with none so I had them, too)
I'm reasonably electronically-savvy, so if anyone knows a way of getting around this with no code, or over-riding it, I'd be grateful.
Alternatively, is a peugeot dealer or perhaps an ICE specialist likely to be able to sort it for me, would they be able to do it on-the spot and roughly how much would I be looking to pay?
Thanks in advance, and seasonal greetings to you all,
Dave
