	Hi Can anybody tell me what the orange highlighted pipes do, the one that leads to the red highlighted area is showing signs of imminent failure/leaking. I stole this pic off of google maps and added the boxes as its too wet outside to go taking pics Mine is a 95' mx5 mk1 1.8 uk model (No PAS or Air con so id say base model) Thanks in advance ATB Richard

	Those are your brake pipes, unless I'm very mistaken.. Look like they come from the master cylinder to the ABS module.

	ahh curse word that cant be good. actually give me 5 mins Ill just go and get a pic of my actual engine bay so I can make it a bit more relevant as i don't have that black square thing that's to the right of the red highlighted box.

	Just had a closer look and the pipe in question comes from the clutch master cylinder, and its the connection between this pipe and a hose that is leaking.

	The pipe in the red box is you heater matrix hose. If this is very perished, you'll probably want to change it soon. Partly because you don't want to losse your heating, but also because you'll lose all your coolant if this goes!

	looked yesterday. It turned out to be the clutch hydraulics pipe. fixing it at the Weekend
