Red Victor One has just cracked a 7.94@181mph according to news on the wire Remember guys that this is a 100% street legal car racing on treaded tyres through a full exhaust system with an MOT and a tax disc in the windscreen not someplastic fantastic race only jobber. I'm sure details will be on his site www.redvictor1racing.co.uk when he's back from the weekends racing. Give 'em hell Andy ;D

Can testify to the fact that this is street driven from when it came to one of our local cruises a couple of years ago. I can still remember it setting alarms off on the housing estate opposite when it left, even though you couldn't see the housing estate! Can't imagine what it takes to run a time like that, street legal or not, so congratulations!

superb! there comment on eurodragster that it is his quickest run, but not that its quicker than John Sleath. The car was looking real good yesterday, and from the reports on eurodragster they were running around getting it ready right up until the last minutes before the event!

Woah, that's great news. I have respect for the cars that used to be cars. A couple of them are scratchbuilt but the Vic was probably once owned by a doddery old sod who serviced it himself and shook his walking stick at young'uns driving past too fast

The Victor was found abandonned in somewhere like Glasgow. I saw the "before". I've turned cars less rust down as spares cars before. Its a real piece of top quality restoration that the body looks so good. People don't realise that. Its easy to dismiss and say "well he cut the floor out anyway" but the body is soooo straight and it was such a nail. Theres few cars racing which are so well restored, so well engineered, so powerful, so quick, so fast and so authentic street cars.
Yeah John Sleath's Audi catches most of those points but its not got the finsih and detail Andy's does, its a real piece of love that car. Bet he's glad it didn't sell when he was offering it out as an unfinshed project a few years ago!
