As the title suggests, I have a recovery truck for hire.
This is a new area of out business we are exploring, as I know there is a shortage of companies offering this service. It's easy enough to hire a trailer, but then you need to be legally entitled to tow, let alone actually have the skills and confidence to do so. Our 3.5t trucks can be driven on a car licence without a tacho and have a payload of 1.6t. They gave 15ft beds, electric winches and tie down straps and ratchets. Trucks used are Isuzu NKR/NPR 3.1 diesels.
Normal price is £100 per day, but we're happy to do this at £80 for retro riders! This includes delivery of the truck within 10 miles of Chesterfield, and up to 250 miles per day. Insurance has to be arranged by the hirer (fully comp only), and photo ID and 2 recent utility bills are needed.
