Selling my Passat 1.8T Manual Sport
This is my runaround, have been using it for the last 2 months without issue, only selling because ive found an Omega MV6 that i would like to purchase.
The car has all the usual sport refinements, electric windows all round, electric sunroof/mirrors, heated front seats (drivers side inop)
It has full black leather interior which is in excellent condition, all the eletrics inside work apart from the drivers heated seat (it does work just depends how you sit in it?) it has the trip computer which shows ave consumption, real consumption etc....gearstick has a number 10 pool ball on instead of the original which i still have.
Engine and gearbox are also in excellent condition, engine starts first time everytime, boosts well throughout the range (has boost gauge installed) doesnt have any modifications. Gearbox selects all gears well including reverse with no crunching, clutch bite point is possibly a bit high but it doesnt slip.
Exterior is in good condition for its age, does have a few scuffs and a couple of dents, worst being the front passenger door, looks like someone has attempted to clean it with a scouring pad, it has marker LED's installed in the bump strips on the bumper, The fronts are disconnected as they look too red for my liking.
All the wheels have pretty much brand new tyres on, they have done maybe 3000 miles max ? the front passenger alloy has had the paint come off of one of the spokes, all have centre caps.
To sum up this is a good car, i recently made a trip to cornwall (225 miles each way) and averaged 37mpg at 70mph!! I have the Log book and the MOT sheet (2 advisories, oil leak and CV boot deteriorated) there is no rust on the bodywork.
I'm not after a swap as i said I'm looking to buy an Omega so really just want the cash pretty please
