This is the Jeff Schwartz "Cadillac Attack" note the uncharacteristic "lack of door handles scraping" as it goes around a corner... Specs that count: 0-60 : 3.5 sec 1/4 : 11.8 Lateral G: 1.02 not only is this a big old detroit boat, but its fast. (its making 710hp 850ft lbs on engine dyno) Well, we've seen that before, but the thing handles. It puts down greater cornering forces than a Lambo Murcielago. The thing that impresses me most is not that this big old Caddy is undefeated in autotest and regularly anhialates Porsches, Ferarris, M3s and goodness knows what else in road course racing, but that when you look at the spec of the thing its all simple "DIY" mods. Nothing fancy. Just a really well developed series of changes and chops. This guy knows his vehicle dynamics. He also runs an Ultima which is his "real" competition car. The Cadillac is really just a demo for his business to show what can be achieved with thought and knowledge and application, even starting with something which handles like the QE2 as a starting point. I first saw it in a magazine 2002 when it was cutting cones and slaloms in unbelieveable times. Loved the concept ever since. This isn't "bolt on some big rims and look like a prat" modifying, this is thikn it out, do the job and go make a Poirsche driver look like a prat modifying. Total respec' Now, whos for "Oldsmobile Attack"? Where did I put that red wrench...

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

Ah but "American cars don't handle" LOL! hold me back, hold me back... Mine doesn't seem to bad, could do with a grab handle on the passenger side though. www.lateral-g.net/members/loads more here.

Mine don't do too bad for what they are either. The old Chrysler was pretty poor though. Certainly no worse than a lot of modern far eastern FWD family saloons and the like. www.pro-touring.com is another site of note for this kind of thing.

and heres me who wont mod my 940 as "theres no point cos it will never handle" I too find it hard to believe after driving a stock 240 wagon, but do it, theres loads thats been done, do a volvo, or 'ovlov' search on here and you'll find some sexy example, also see wagoneers for sale wagon and bryn's diet wagon. Do it! sorry where was i?! yeah loving the yank tank, must be a fair bit of work in this one.
