TBH mate, I would just restore the engine and forget about putting it into a mini chopper, it's just to nice as it is. Only my opinion but keep use up to date.

I guess your probably right! It's just we have about 10 stationary engines and I think they are a bit boring. Just like to see engines being worked or used rather than just sitting going putt putt putt.
Maybe a mini mill for crushing chillies is a better plan or a bread saw maybe!
Still gonna make a chopper though as I have already acquired a speed fighter 2 and a Honda caren for donors.

Likewise, seems a pity to 'graft' something unusual/valuable onto something else.....Not that I'd tell anyone what to do with something that's theirs. Sounds like you've aquired some perfect stuff for the job though, if you've got a ped engine and the necessary drive parts it should be easier..........Now you've mentioned it we'll be wanting a thread ;D

Still gonna make a chopper though as I have already acquired a speed fighter 2 and a Honda caren for donors. Its speedfight not speedfighter . haha sorry pet hate of mine, being such a big ped fan and all. oh and yep I own a speedfight. along with a lot of other peds lol. the speedy is the most expensive though. £600 to buy and more than that in repairs over 18 months - don't ask..it goes through engines quicker than fuel) back on topic..loving the chopper idea, seen a few lambretta / vespa based ones before that looked awesome.

Just clean up the engine and make it nice, there's a fair market for stationary engines.
