Cheap part ex clearance, reason: 251,000 miles!!!!!
Of course the whole car must be worn out? No! Other than a sloppy gear linkage, this car drives very well indeed.
We took this in as a collection of part ex's from a garage, and this was one of the cars in amongst them, and we actually drove it the 50+ miles back, and other than the aforementioned sloppy gearchange (linkage needs replacing), she drove excellently.
No nasty noises or rattles, you'd never know she was this high mileage unless someone told you, shes worn incredibly well!
Specification: Remote Central Locking, Power Steering, Combined Tape and CD Headunit, Aircon, Electric Front Windows, Electric Mirrors, Heated Front Seats, Fuel Computer, Colour Coded Bumpers
Blemishes: A few scratches here and there, sloppy gear linkage, back doors don't always unlock with the central locking.
Judging by the condition of the car and the fact its had one previous owner, would would surmise that its been mostly used on the motorway for most of its miles.
Spares or Repair, either fix the linkage and keep on driving, surely shes a workhorse in waiting? Or break her up!
Car drives fine, you can get all the gears except the sloppyness in the selector sometimes makes getting fifth a bit more difficult, but it can select it, and theres no crunches or whines from the box, its all the linkage.
