I'm going to take the obvious guess and say it's a Ford Model A. It probably isn't though, otherwise the game would be too easy! Edit: By comparing the position/style of front engine mounts to Google image search, it looks like Seth is correct with 1932 Ford V8!  That crossmember looks like it matches! Pretty hard to find a decent photo of a stock one though!  |

its an early ford, but i don't think its a '32. the frame horns look too short, the chassis too bulky over the wishbones, and it shouldnt have that step-down in width front of the crossmember. the crossmember is too flat and too wide as well.that flathead also seems to have the wrong water pumps. id say the most likey candidate via process of elimination is a ford pilot chassis. this is a stock '32 chassis and crossmember- www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=523780but nearly ever '32 you see with have an A crossmember fitted, or repro thereof (like in wavemans second pic), cos it drops the front end about 2.5" so is a very, very widely done mod. |

1934 Ford Model 40?
Yup, now I'm sure it is a '33 or a '34. Up to the Model A, the rails were straight in planform, the '32 was curved, but as Dez says, thr horns were longer (and they had the splash panel pressing in the sides) From '35 onwards, the spring was set in front of the axle so it's got to be a '33 or '34.

It is a 31 Buick limo and later on in its life 60s ish it was used as a taxi in Glasgow ...

Yes mate took these photos yesterday .. bobs the driver its my uncle john that's got the car collection to die for well over 100 cars most of them yank or v old from 29 Ford . 32 pickups 48 chev pickup etc etc etc john sansom is the name
