Just got back from TopGear Live and what a cracking event. I had the priviledge to be asked due to my RC driving skills to drive a rat whilst Clarkson, Hammond and May ran them over in City Rovers. Had an amazing time and was tasked with a few other stage hand jobs like driving the Alfa 8C in the supercar pageant ;D
I have a few pics and will post them later as now I am knackered!

I didn't know you were up there too - I saw Sho at keiths the other day who mentioned that he and Cue-ball were up there. You are all indeed lucky buggers.

Ok not many pics as I didnt want to seem too much of a fan and I was technically working. This was the car I drove in the beauty pageant: Ok its not as cool as the Enzo but was probably one of the easiest to drive and definately the most expensive car I have ever driven. In fact the Alfa arrived late so I used the black and orange DS3 in rehearsals which was also rather nice. This was my view whilst the car boules was happening. This was replaced by the Noble as it was unreliable due to poor starting. I was only a few feet away from Clarkson, May and Hammond at times but didnt bug them and kept it professional. Hammond seemed the nicest and said hello to us in the morning. You could see they were practicing their lines whilst sucking on a Marlboro just before going out at the start! Definately a great experience and with a bit of luck we will be asked back again. Oh and there's a rat in me kitchen what am I gonna do? ;D

Nice work! How did that all come about?
The 8C Competizione is, I reckon, one of the most beautiful cars ever built ;D

As far as I know Clarkson came up with the RC rat idea and a company I have been involved with in the past got the contract to supply 200 of them. They then asked if they knew anyone who could control them and I was lucky enough to be asked to do it with a few others.
Our RC Rat team leader ended up being dressed as a Roman and taking Hammonds chariot out to him on the arena, how cool is that!
The supercar thing looked simple but had to be spot on in time to the music. It was pretty unreal sitting in the car whilst looking at the three of them in my drivers door mirror being watched by thousands of people.
