Its a 2.2 volvo B21 lump, 16v head, and one very large turbo! 1040bhp, and 7.76 in the quarter! all from - www.hunchbackracing.se/index.html
The original manifold and turbo -
Heres a video (pretty big at 29meg) awsome sound, and very fast! The sound it makes reminds me of my old imp turbo setup, the turbine whistle ooohhh yeah!

EDIT - chack out the smile on the last guys face, id probably be the same if id managed to get the front wheels of my volvo off the ground!
That is awesome, and the dude in the 142 looks ace. Yet another reason to sell my BMW and get that Volvo estate back on the road... Talk is cheap though, and I'll bet that lot ain't.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmm hunchback racing, what a car i have thier site somewhere, someone once told me you couldnt get more than 300brake on a volvo motor.....this weapon soon shut them up (stupid halfwits on cruiser sites :
its also been my ambition for a very long time to get the front wheels off the ground in a 245 that project however maybe a few years away
Christ on a bike That way that launches is incredible! Regardless of it having an uber cool motor, I'd be happy to just have it's chassis, it's that well sorted
Jesus H. That's some horny looking turbo-age going on there... 1000+ horsies from a B21 lump?! Amazing.
This has got me thinking about indestructible 4-pots... I wonder how much power could be gotten from a mercedes 2.3 4-banger. They're pretty damn strong, and cheap to get hold of.... hmmm....
Heh.. bad ass... but thats no B21 no more! With the 16v head from a B234. Alot of big horse power RWD Volvos usually have a penta crank (giving 2.5 litres) and internals provided by Sten Parner in Sweden (http://www.stenparnermotor.se/).
That turbo is fecking insane, the lag on that must be errmm... interesting! ;D
There's also a 480 somewhere with a similar kinda power with a similar specced engine!
